Washington: Charlie Sheen has reportedly donated 75,000 dollars to a 10-year-old girl - suffering from an aggressive form of a muscle tissue cancer known as Childhood Rhabdomyosarcoma.
The 47-year-old made the donation after meeting Jasmine’s police officer father on Hermosa Beach in Los Angeles recently and hearing of her illness, TMZ.com reported. A source told the publication that the ‘Two And a Half Men’ star told the police officer that “no parent should have to watch their kid go through that” and next day sent a cheque for 75,000 dollars to the Hermosa Beach Police Association, which had started a fund in Jasmine’s honour. Sheen’s stunt-double Eddie Braun also chipped in with a check for an additional 25,000 dollars. A source close to the 47-year-old star previously revealed that he was paid a total of 250,000 dollars for one day’s work on the movie in September. And the insider revealed that the 26-year-old actress wasn’t the only person to benefit because he donated the remaining 150,000 dollars to three different charities. ANI
