Cory Monteith filmed touching message to fan before death

New York: Tragic actor Cory Monteith recorded a touching message to a fan just weeks before his death, urging her to stay out of trouble and remain in school.

The 31-year-old `Glee` star was found dead in a hotel room in Vancouver, Canada last Saturday. A coroner ruled he died from a lethal mix of heroin and alcohol, reported Huffington Post.

A video footage of Monteith has now emerged showing the star filming a heart-warming message to a fan during a flight to Japan last month.
It is believed to be the last footage of the actor

After an air stewardess asked Monteith to record a clip for her boyfriend`s daughter Mallory, the smiling star says to the camera,
"Hey Mallory, it`s Cory. I wanted to record this video for you guys just to let you know to stay out of trouble and stay in school."

A group of Monteith`s closest friends gathered at his Los Angeles home to take part in a special memorial. His remains were cremated next week.
