London: Former 'Doctor Who' star David Tennant has suggested that he will return to the stage later this year.
The star, who won a What's On Stage Award for his turn in Richard II, said that there are a number of Shakespearean roles he would still love to play, reported Digital Spy.
Tennant confirmed that he is currently in talks for his next project.
When asked if he knows when he will next appear on stage, Tennant said, "We don't exactly, but hopefully something this year with a bit of luck."
One of Tennant's next projects will be Marvel and Netflix's AKA 'Jessica Jones', which will see him play a villain known as Purple Man.
