Los Angeles: Singer Rita Ora, who was hospitalised for “heat exhaustion and dehydration”, has been discharged.
"Rita Ora was treated for heat exhaustion and dehydration at our hospital today. She was discharged and is fine," David Farcy, M.D., chairman of the Emergency Department at Mount Sinai Hospital, said in a statement, reports eonline.com. The 22-year-old, who was posing for pictures in 90 degree Fahrenheit heat for Madonna`s new campaign in Florida Monday, looked unwell. Reportedly, Ora and her crew had taken a lunch break when, suddenly, an emergency crew arrived. The medical staff was there for about an hour before taking the pop star to Mount Sinai hospital, where she was treated for "heat exhaustion and dehydration," according to Robert Alonso, the associate vice president of marketing at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. Ora was seen being lifted on a stretcher into an ambulance after reportedly collapsing in her dressing room.
