Duncan James files for bankruptcy

London: Blue singer Duncan James has suffered yet another financial blow after he was officially declared bankrupt on September 12.

The 35-year-old singer filed for bankruptcy under his real name, Duncan Inglis, just weeks before he is due to embark on tour with the `All Rise` boy band for their comeback tour, reported Daily Express.

The order was made on September 12 at the High Court in London.
This financial blow comes after the group`s company Blueworld Ltd went into administration in May.

"There was no warning that the band had money problems. This has come as a complete shock. Letters have been sent out by the administrators to creditors who are owed substantial sums by the band," a source said.

Ducan`s bandmate Antony Costa also recently said that he had been struggling to cope financially since the group disbanded in 2005 and is now living on a 45 pounds per week sum.

Meanwhile, Duncan, will be hoping to cash in when Blue perform their first big tour since reforming in 2009, thanks to the popularity of ITV2 show `The Big Reunion`.

Duncan and Anthony will be joined by Simon Webbe and Lee Ryan on the road in October and November.
