'Fed up' Colorado man busted for shooting his malfunctioning computer to death

A Colorado man, who has been "fighting with his computer for the last several months," took it outside and shot it eight times, resulting in the death of the computer and him being cited for discharging a firearm.

London: A Colorado man, who has been "fighting with his computer for the last several months," took it outside and shot it eight times, resulting in the death of the computer and him being cited for discharging a firearm.

A police spokesman said that the man Lucas Hinch was having technology problems, so he took it to the back alley and destroyed it, the BBC reported.

As per local media, he did not realise he was breaking the law when he went "Wild West" on his machine.

It is reported that Hinch shot the machine when ctrl+alt+delete, the traditional method used to re-boot computers, consistently did not work.

A judge is due to decide what penalty he will receive.
