Glastonbury fest boss Michael Eavis ‘declined VIP treatment to Rooneys’

It has emerged that Wayne Rooney and wife Coleen were denied a VIP treatment at the Glastonbury Festival by none other than its founder Michael Eavis.

London: It has emerged that Wayne Rooney and wife Coleen were denied a VIP treatment at the Glastonbury Festival by none other than its founder Michael Eavis.
Coleen’s assistant mailed Eavis asking for her entourage to receive special attention but his team was rather unimpressed and unmoved. “Coleen’s assistant emailed months ago to ask for VIP treatment but Michael’s office replied saying celebrity pampering is not what Glastonbury is all about, and she wouldn’t be getting any tickets through them,” the Daily Mail quoted a source as saying. “Michael suggested that she would be better off going through the private luxury site next-door run by Mark Edgley called Windinglake Farm. “Mark’s a Manchester United fan and he was happy to accommodate the Rooneys at his site in the grounds of his manor house. He arranged festival passes, helicopter and Winnebagos,” the source added. The couple spent 15,000 pounds on their trip. ANI
