London: One Direction singer Harry Styles delivered a witty speech at his mother`s wedding, leaving guests "roaring with laughter".
Styles` mother Anne, 43, married Robin Twist at Pecks restaurant in Cheshire here last week.
"His speech was very witty. He had everyone roaring with laughter," said Andy Pear, the restaurant`s owner, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"It was very emotional - people were in tears. He comes across as a very intelligent, engaging young man. He wrote the speech himself and it lasted around 10 minutes," he added.
Styles couldn`t stop smiling at the wedding and was seen by his mother`s side throughout, it was reported last week.
"Harry couldn`t stop smiling. He hardly left his mum`s side and she looked really proud of him. He sipped champagne and talked to everyone," said the source.
The ‘Little Things’ hitmaker has previously admitted that his mother is one of his closest friends, and someone who he confides in.
"I tell her everything and she knows the truth," he had said.
