London: Prince Harry has invited Chelsy Davy to his brother’s wedding, sparking rumours that the couple may be getting back together after splitting two months ago.
The pair has been back in touch and Harry, 26, is hoping to travel to Africa to see Zimbabwean-born Chelsy during a break in his pilot training over Christmas.
“Chelsy was genuinely happy for Kate and wanted to wish her all the best. She has been speaking to Harry, who’s very excited about the wedding and helping William plan his big day,” the Daily Mail quoted one of Chelsy’s friends as saying.
“It got Chelsy thinking that she would like to be there, too. All of her friends in Jo’burg are predicting that she will be at the wedding,” the friend added.
William’s best man Harry asked him to put Chelsy on the guest list.
“Harry has said he would like Chelsy on the list because they are back in touch, even if she just comes over as a friend. William has always liked Chelsy and doesn’t have a problem with her being there and neither does Kate. They’d both love to see her again,” said a source.
Meanwhile, Kate is understood to be considering asking her younger sister Pippa, 26, to be her lady-in-waiting once she is married.
It has already been reported that Pippa is likely to be one of the bridesmaids, but Kate is hoping her sister’s involvement will extend beyond the big day.
