Los Angeles: The memorial service of singer Bobbi Kristina Brown was dented by the chaos caused by her aunt Leolah Brown's ouster from the private funeral.
The funeral of 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina, the only child of Bobbi Brown and late singer Whitney Houston took place yesterday at Saint James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Atlanta.
Bobby's sister apparently screamed at Pat Houston, Whitney's sister-in-law and Bobbi Kristina's co-legal guardian when she began to speak to the young singer's loved ones, reported Entertainment Tonight.
Director Tyler Perry, a friend of the family, intervened during the situation.
Leolah was escorted out of the building to cool off, but was eventually allowed back inside in time to sing hymns with others in attendance.
"Whitney will haunt Pat Houston from the grave. She will haunt her. Pat, it's not over. It has just begun. It has just begun," Leolah told the reporters.
"I have information, I have evidence, I have knowledge of who Pat really is -- she is not any relation whatsoever to Krissi -- she's not even a Houston. She's just being the phony person that she is."
The Brown and Houston families held their own separate gatherings after the funeral.
There has been an ongoing feud between the two families since Bobbi Kristina was put in a medically induced coma on January 31.
Post the funeral, Bobby's wife Alicia Etheridge was admitted to a hospital after suffering a seizure.
Etheridge reportedly became unwell in a hotel room in the evening.
When Etheridge arrived at a hospital in Atlanta, Bobby, 46, was reportedly by her side the whole time and she was able to walk through with little help.
Alicia's collapse happened just hours after Bobby Brown broke down when he left the reception held after his daughter's funeral.
Bobby was spotted in tears leaving in a white SUV traveling from the funeral site to St Marlo Country Club in Duluth, Georgia on the same evening.
