Hunt for Duchess Kate’s topless photographer kicks off
London: A French judge has launched a criminal investigation to identify the paparazzi photographer who took the topless photos of the Duchess of Cambridge.
Specialist police officers began the hunt in Paris on Friday after the country’s Closer magazine published the pictures but refused to disclose the identity of the photographer who took them, the Mirror reported.
The 30-year-old royal was photographed sunbathing topless with Prince William at his uncle’s villa in Provence, when the couple thought they were alone.
The couple made a criminal complaint over an “attack on their private life” and the British Royal Family have demanded the photographer be brought to justice over the “grotesque and unjustifiable” images.
