I don't want to be a role model: Charlie XCX

London: Singer Charlie XCX says she has told her fans and followers to expect mistakes from her.

The 22-year-old "Boom Clap" hitmaker has urged her fans not to consider her a role model, because it is inevitable she will make mistakes as her career progresses, reported Female First.

"Even though I probably am [a role model], because certain people look up to me, that's never been an aim of mine. But I understand that's a responsibility that comes with the territory, even if you don't ask for it.

"I'm OK with that, as long as they know I'm definitely gonna make some mistakes along the way," she said.
