Ileana D'Cruz judges grand finale of Max Fashion Icon India 2015

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Ileana D'Cruz was recently spotted as a jury guest during the grand finale of Max Fashion Icon India 2015 along with renowned fashion director Marc Robinson in New Delhi.

The unique platform chose talented young men and women from smaller towns namely Lucknow, Bhopal, Pune and Hyderabad, who aspire to make it big in the industry but did not have the right medium or the required resources.

Speaking at the occasion, the 'Barfi' star, said, "It is not easy for these young kids to get over shyness and walk the ramp and it was really brave of them that they are following their dreams."

Even I never had a godfather in this industry and made it big on my own. People are going to put you down but one needs to keep on marching ahead. One needs to believe in themselves. This platform serves as the right guide for people who don't have opportunities and the initiative is definitely helping them, added the 37-year-old actress.

The jury also consisted of Vasanth Kumar, Executive Director, Max Fahions, Nandini Bhalla, Editor, Cosmopolitan, Fleur Xavier, Supermodel and they judges the contestants on the basis of their confidence, ramp walk, and photogenic appeal.

Talking about the event, Robinson asserted that people from two-tier cities have big aspirations but less opportunities and no credible platform and with clothing brand Max and Cosmopolitan as their partners, they are giving back to the fashion industry.

Max also unveiled its Spring summer collection where they showcased Holiday shop, Sporty Rush, Ethnic clothing for men and women.
