Los Angeles: `Spiderman` star James Franco`s celebrity status could not save him from the anger of a professor.
The actor was caught texting during his class and was told to go wait outside for not paying attention.
The 32-year-old Franco is studying filmmaking at New York University`s Tisch School of the Arts. The actor was scolded by the professor for using his cell phone in the class
earlier this month, Star magazine reported.
"The professor was so annoyed that James wasn`t paying attention; he told him to go wait outside the class. He didn`t care James is a celebrity. James said he felt like a kid," a source said.
Franco has a busy year ahead with a coveted role `Planet of the Apes` prequel `Rise of the Apes` and Danny Boyle movie for Fox Searchlight `127 Hours`. He also reprises his role in TV drama `General Hospital`.
