Jennifer Lopez set to launch lifestyle brand
New York: Undeterred by the failure of her clothing line, popstar Jennifer Lopez is all set to launch a lifestyle brand and says that she is determined to excel this time.
The 41-year-old `American Idol` judge is teaming up with her singer-husband Marc Anthony for the brand`s launch, reported New York Times online.
Renowned fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger will be working with the `Waiting For Tonight` hitmaker on the new project.
"The difference this time around is Jennifer is fully engaged with a company that is professionally staffed to really develop anything she wants from towels to knee-high suede boots," said Hilfiger who will collaborate on the brand which will launch in Kohl`s department stores.
Earlier the singer-actress was forced to retire from her `Sweetface` brand in 2009 after failing to connect with bargain hunting shoppers. The popstar had admitted being devastated due to the failure of the business venture.
"That was sad for me. I just felt like I never got a fair chance to do it right. And on top of it, I felt like I was trapped in a situation I couldn`t get out of and my name was stamped on things that I didn`t believe in. I didn`t understand the business well enough," said Lopez.
