JK Rowling, Lorraine Kelly top list of females most searched for their work

London: A recent poll has found that JK Rowling and Lorraine Kelly are the women Britons want to know about the most.

Website Ask Jeeves analysed its 60 million monthly queries to see who was the most searched about for their lives, work and achievement rather than their looks or gossip, the Sun reported.

The poll found that the ‘Harry Potter’ author topped the list of female achievers people are most interested in, whereas The Sun columnist Lorraine Kelly came in second.

Other females included in the research to mark Breast cancer Awareness Month were athlete Jessica Ennis, and Home Secretary Theresa May.

The top 10 female achievers were:

J K Rowling

Lorraine Kelly

Kate Moss

Helen Mirren

Kate Winslet

Delia Smith
