Los Angeles: Superstar Johnny Depp says he enjoyed turning 50 earlier this month because he is pleased to have made it to the landmark age.
The actor - who has two children, Lily-Rose, 14, and Jack, 11, with ex-partner Vanessa Paradis - insists he doesn`t have any problems turning 50 and is glad to still be alive, reported E! Online. "It`s great. I mean, I think any day you wake up and you`re still around is a good thing. Every time you could take a breath and exhale and inhale again, it`s a good thing; 50 is like, `Sure! Why not?`," he said. Depp recently injured himself after falling off a horse while shooting his latest movie `The Lone Ranger` - in which he plays Native American warrior Tonto. "It was a weird one. Amazingly, I got up and walked away from it with just a few scratches," he added. PTI
