John’s pets killed in airport accident
Melbourne: Actor John Travolta’s two pet dogs have been killed in an accident at Bangor International Airport.
City officials said in a statement that "someone who is not a family member" took the two small dogs for a walk after the Travolta family landed at the airport at midnight.
The statement added an airport service pickup truck, coming to service the plane, struck and killed the dogs, the Bangor Daily News reported.
The actor’s family was headed to their house on Islesboro, off the Maine coast, from Bangor, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Travolta’s publicist, Paul Bloch, said he was unaware of the incident.
