Los Angeles: Actress Kate Hudson doesn`t feel sorry for her ex-boyfriends cyclist Lance Armstrong and baseball player Alex Rodriguez, who have been accused of substance abuse. The 35-year-old actress, who is engaged to Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy, says she was "as shocked as anyone" when the cyclist admitted using performance-enhancing drugs throughout his career, and the baseball player was recently accused of using banned substances while playing for the New York Yankees in 2012, reports contactmusic.com.
The “Bride Wars” star told the July issue of InStyle magazine: "People have a right to (feel betrayed). Lance and Alex are phenomenal athletes who have made some bad choices and let a lot of people down. It`s a decision they made for themselves and they`ve got to loathe it." But she doesn`t pity the athletes. "I personally think that you make the choices you make and you should reap the consequences,” she said. Hudson dated Armstrong for a few months in 2008 and Rodriguez for almost a year in 2009.
