Katy Perry honoured for `Charity Work` at Dreams Gala
Washington: Katy Perry was recognized for her charity work at the Celebration of Dreams Gala in her hometown Santa Barbara, California on Friday night.
The 28-year-old singer was among the honourees at the gala, which was hosted by the Dream Foundation at the Bacara Resort and Spa, Contactmusic reported.
The ‘I Kissed a Girl’ hitmaker received an award for her work raising awareness of the charity, which helps grant wishes for families facing life-threatening illness.
Among others was American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe who was also honoured at the event and famous guests included Glee star Jane Lynch and actress Marcia Gay Harden.
