Katona has managed to sell her “house of hell” for 1.1 million pounds.

London: Kerry Katona has finally managed to sell her “house of hell” for 1.1million pounds.

Sadly because of her debts, she will walk away with just a fraction of the sale deal. Katona will receive less than 125,000 pounds because of the number of times she has re-mortgaged, and a payment she must make to the Official Receiver. When the property couldn’t be sold despite numerous attempts the former Atomic Kitten slashed 150,000 pounds off the asking price in January, bringing her detached pad down from 1.25m pounds to 1.1million pounds. “The accepted offer is very close to the asking price,” a daily quoted a spokeswoman for estate agents Savills as saying. Katona, 30, called the property her “house of hell” because of the nightmare times she lived through during her explosive marriage to former cab driver Mark Croft, 40. A close friend said, “In the end she really hated the house, so she’s glad it’s now history. “The fact she’s getting so little out of it hurts, but she’s accepted that and just wants to move on.” ANI
