Kirsten to testify in burglary retrial
New York: Hollywood beauty Kirsten Dunst will take to the witness stand again to testify in the retrial of a man accused of stealing her designer purse.
The `Spider Man` star testified against James Jimenez in 2009 after he allegedly stole her designer bag during a 2007 break-in at the SoHo Grand Hotel in Manhattan, reported
New York Post online.
Jimenez was convicted on a misdemeanour count of criminal trespass in October last year, but members of the jury failed to reach a verdict on charges of felony burglary.
The 35-year-old suspect appeared in Manhattan Supreme Court earlier but refused to take a plea deal, prompting the presiding judge to set a retrial.
Dunst, who was shooting `How to Lose Friends and Alienate People` at the time of the burglary, will be called to give another testimony during the new trial.
