Lea Michele pays homage to Cory Monteith

London: Actress Lea Michele has paid tribute to former boyfriend Cory Monteith, who passed away in 2013, on his 33rd birth anniversary.

Michelle, 28, who dated Cory, her 'Glee' co-star until his untimely death from a toxic combination of heroin and alcohol overdose, honoured him on Twitter, where she shared a touching message alongside a photograph of him playing the drums, reported Female First.

"I know you're serenading everyone right now...We love you Cory! Happy birthday(sic)." The brunette beauty was not the only star of the Fox show to pay tribute to their former cast member.

Kevin McHale also took to Instagram to share a photo of Cory reclining in an armchair. He captioned the image: "Not one day goes by...Happy birthday."
