Manish Malhotra named LFW grand finale designer

Mumbai: Fashion designer Manish Malhotra has been named the grand finale designer for Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014 (LFW WF 2014) to be held from Aug 20 to Aug 24 here.

He will join forces with Lakme make-up expert Cory Walia and create the Lakme Absolute Bridal Dream Team. "This is my fourth finale at LFW and I am as thrilled as I was the first time. This platform is one of the biggest celebrations of fashion that brings forth the best in design, beauty, fashion and Bollywood making it every designer`s dream showcase. "This season, I will be showcasing Lakme Absolute`s bridal trousseau and I look forward to re-inventing my style inspired by Lakme Absolute," Malhotra said in a statement. He has created designs for Bollywood celebrities like Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.
