Sydney: An American teenager has signed a legal agreement, under which she would be paid 200 dollars by her father if she deleted her Facebook account.
The teenager, Rachel Baier, will be paid 50 dollars in April, and another 150 dollars in June, by her father Paul Baier, who is the vice president of Boston energy company Groom Energy Solutions, reports News.com.au.
According to Paul Baier, Rachel, who came up with the idea of the agreement, found Facebook distracting and a waste of her time, and added that she also wanted to earn money.
Baier also said that Rachel planned to join Facebook again after six months.
