Michael Jackson`s Beverly Hills house goes on sale

New York: King of Pop Michael Jackson`s Beverly Hills house, where he breathed his last, has been put up for sale once again for USD 23.9 million.
The sprawling, 17,000 square-foot Los Angeles pad where the pop icon died in the summer of 2009 has been all cleaned up and put on the market, reported Forbes online. The house is in the affluent Holmby Hills neighborhood of LA, which has been home to a number of iconic celebrities, including Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and Dean Martin. With seven bedrooms, 13 bathrooms and a seven-car garage, the house was listed for a higher price of USD 29 million when it was put on the market in August 2010. Realtor Mauricio Umansky is hopeful that the space`s history wouldn`t be a setback. "It is what it is. There`s no need to hide it. Michael Jackson was an amazing human being ? he changed music as we know it. Unfortunately, he passed away. It doesn`t take away from the house. He loved the master bedroom and he loved the grounds. He was happy there," said Umansky, CEO and co-founder of The Agency in Beverly Hills. Last December, a number of items from the mansion went on sale including high-priced paintings by Maurice Utrillo and Henri Rosseau, candles and silverware. The 50-year-old singer died of a Propofol overdose in June 2009. PTI
