Michael Madsen arrested over fight with teenage son

Melbourne: Hollywood actor Michael Madsen has been reportedly arrested for alleged cruelty to a child after a fight with his teenage son. The ‘Kill Bill’ star was arrested at his home in Malibu Friday afternoon, after officers were called about a family disturbance, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department.

The statement says detectives from the Special Victims Bureau are investigating allegations that Madsen was under the influence of alcohol and fought with his son, who did not need medical attention, a leading daily has reported.

Madsen was arrested without incident and booked at the Lost Hills sheriff’s station. He is being held on USD100,000 bail. Madsen is best known for his roles in the Quentin Tarantino movies ‘Reservoir Dogs’ and ‘Kill Bill’.
