Michelle Williams reaches out to Lea Michele

Los Angeles: Hollywood actress Michelle Williams has reportedly reached out to `Glee` star Lea Michele, who tragically lost boyfriend Cory Monteith last month due to an overdose of heroin and alcohol.

Williams herself lost her boyfriend Heath Ledger, also from an overdose, back in 2008, reported Star magazine.

"Michelle is probably the only person who knows what Lea is going through. Lea was deeply touched by the gesture," a source said.

"Michelle made a huge impact and Lea has been feeling better. There are a lot of parallels between Heath and Cory so Michelle can really understand Lea," it added.

Meanwhile Lea has reportedly been working closely with the producers of `Glee` on Monteith`s tribute episode.

"The meetings are lengthy and Lea is a part of them to make sure everything is just right. It`s still touch and go for all involved. Tears can and will happen. When they start filming the episode, everyone is going to be a mess. After they film that episode they are going to go on a break to recharge," the source said.

The brunette took to Twitter to pay tribute to her beau, sharing a snap of herself wearing a gold necklace, with the word `Finn` on it.
