Mumbai: It’s that time of the year when you would love to remain indoors, grab plateful of yummy pakodas and sip cups of garam chai. But this desire of your cannot be translated into reality because each of you will be required to battle the monsoons to reach your place of work. There is no way you can avoid the rains. But you can certainly not let it dampen your daily routine.

In this post, we will take a look at the list of essentials in your handbag for the monsoons.

Umbrella: Make sure you carry an umbrella in your bag.

Rain Coat: Even if you have an umbrella, do carry a rain coat as it will prevent you from getting drenched. Also, you can keep your belongings away from the rains.

Sanitizer: Your body is more prone to common cold, cough and infection during the monsoons. So a sanitizer can come in handy.

A towel: In case you get drenched (this may happen in case of torrential rains) despite being guarded by the raincoat and umbrella, you can use a towel to dry yourself.

A set of spare clothes: Make sure you carry a set of spare clothes so that you can change in case you get completely drenched. You may keep the clothes in your office cabinet to avoid carrying them every day.

A bottle of water: It’s best to avoid drinking water from public water dispensers. Carry a small bottle with purified water to drink.
