No wedding gifts, say William, Kate

William and Kate have asked the guests to donate money to good causes.

London: Prince William and Kate Middleton have asked the guests to donate money to good causes instead of buying them gifts.
The couple is due to exchange vows in London April 29 and ahead of the ceremony, they have asked guests to make donation to a charitable fund, which will distribute the money to their favourite good causes, including New Zealand`s Christchurch Earthquake Appeal, founded in the aftermath of last month`s massive tremor, reports dailystar.co.uk. William is due to visit the region later this week. A statement from Buckingham Palace reads: "Having been touched by the goodwill shown them since the announcement of their engagement, Prince William and Miss Middleton have asked that anyone who might wish to give them a wedding gift consider giving instead to a charitable fund."
