The event, that will take place Feb 2 at Blue Frog, involves dance workshops, dance performances by troupes and other volunteers. It is an initiative by Rotary Club of Delhi Southend Next.

"This is a unique fundraiser with the involvement of club members, young people and the one that are young at heart. The idea is to dance for 8 hours and pledge or raise funds for Sparsh," Taruna Seth, chairperson of Rotary Club of Delhi Southend Next told IANS.

"It is important to note that only two paediatric dialysis centres exist in India, hence there is an urgent need for this project to be set up and provide medical assistance to children who require dialysis and whose families can`t afford it," she added.

Each registered participant or dancer has to pay according to their profile. A dancer has to pay Rs.2,500, students need to pay Rs.1,000 and Fitness First members have to pay Rs.1,500.

Visitors will have to contribute Rs.900. Food and soft beverages will be provided.
