Oprah relocating OWN HQ to West Hollywood

Washington: Oprah Winfrey is moving her 3-year-old cable channel, Oprah Winfrey Network, from Miracle Mile offices to the new office space on The Lot in West Hollywood later this year.Reportedly, the newly constructed five-story building`s three floors will be occupied by OWN employees.

The employees will have access to screening rooms as well as sound stage and the building will serve as the network`s LA-based headquarters. OWN and Harpo Studios President, Sheri Salata, said that their current working space was limited and she, along with Oprah, love the idea of having a rich, stimulating creative environment to work in. The Lot`s Hollywood history is rich since the almost-a-century-old studio location has been home to iconic projects like `Love Boat and Dynasty`, `Wuthering Heights`, `Some Like it Hot` and `West Side Story`.
