Katra: Over 1.80 lakh pilgrims have paid obeisance at Mata Vasihnodevi cave shrine in Jammu and Kashmir since the beginning of Navratras last week.
Over 1.80 lakh pilgrims have visited the shrine in the first five days of Navratras, Shri Amaranth Shrine Board (SASB) officials said today. A colourful procession comprising tableaux depicting the country`s rich culture and traditions was taken out at the base camp here by Katra Cultural Association to mark, the nine-day period meant for worshipping different forms of Goddess Durga. A large number of pilgrims, prominent citizens, Navratra celebration committee members and senior officers participated in the procession. PTI
