Paul McCartney's new $21.2M penthouse comes with gold bathroom trimmings

Wellington: Luxury is definitely the perfect word for Paul McCartney's new 21.2 million dollars' NYC penthouse apartment as it comes with some swanky features.

The former Beatles player's 1045 Fifth Avenue NY duplex apartment consists of marble staircase, gold bathroom and a crystal chandelier, Stuff.co.nz reported.

The 72-year-old rocker and his wife Nancy Shevel's 10-room apartment i.e. five bedrooms and six bathrooms takes up the 15th and 16th floors of the building, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer commanding views of the city.

It also has a single room on the third floor, with access only by a small spiral staircase on the second floor.
