Prince Harry ‘planning party trip to Las Vegas during US helicopter course’

London: Prince Harry, famous for his wild ways, is planning to spend 48 hours in Las Vegas, the world’s party capital, with fellow pilots during a tough 12-week helicopter course that’s part of his Army training.

Harry, recently promoted to captain, has been training to fly 46m pounds Apache helicopter gunships in RAF Wattisham in Suffolk and will begin training in the US next month.

“It’s traditional that guys on his course, which is split between California and Arizona, have a break in Vegas at the halfway point,” the Mirror quoted a military source as saying.

“The course doesn’t have much downtime – it’s pretty intense. This is a chance for pilots to let their hair down, kick back and enjoy themselves,” the source added.

And the party-loving prince – just back from a break in Croatia where he chatted up local beauties and frolicked in a club’s swimming pool – is sure to enjoy Vegas, which is as famous for its strippers and nightclubs as it is for its high-rolling casinos.
