Prince Jackson pays tribute to father Michael on big birthday eve

Washington: Michael Jackson's son Prince has celebrated his 18th birthday on 13Feb 2015 by thanking his late father in a heartfelt letter.

The music heir wrote that "before I turn 18 tomorrow I really want to thank a few people and first is obviously my dad," who died June 25, 2009 in Los Angeles, the Radar Online reported.

Prince added that his dad was and is as incredible human being not only did he give him the gift of life, but also he gave him an incredible opportunity to make something of himself.

Prince then thanked his cousin T.J., who stepped up to become his co-guardian during the family's infamous public power struggle during the summer of 2012, by saying that his cousin has made so many sacrifices to help him along and "he's been there when I needed him and help shape who I am."

The college-bound heir further wrote that his grandmother's an inspiration to keep going no matter what and has always been there for them and he loves them all.
