Prince William, Kate Middleton to visit India in April - Here's complete itinerary
Prince William and Kate Middleton will be visiting India in April, 2016.
New Delhi: Right after 24 years of Princess Diana visiting India's Taj Mahal, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Kate Middleton will be visiting India in April, 2016.
They will arrive in India on April 10 and travel to Bhutan on April 14. Their tour concludes on April 16. The royal couple - both of whom are aged 33, will be visiting the famous Taj Mahal in Agra apart from some other tourist destinations in India.
"They will pay tribute to India's proud history, but also are keen to understand the hopes and aspirations of young Indian people and the major role they will play in shaping the 21st century," a Kensington Palace spokesperson said.
The first announcement of the Royal couple's plan to visit India reportedly came from the Kensington Palace last year when Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited Queen Elizabeth II in UK.
This will be the first time the Duke and the Duchess will be visiting both the countries.
