London: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit California this summer after their tour of Canada, St. James` Palace has said.
The newly-married couple will travel to the west coast state July 8-10, The Guardian reported.
This will be Prince William`s first official visit to the US as well as for his bride.
Earlier this week, the prince returned to his job as an RAF search-and-rescue helicopter pilot. The couple wedded at Westminster Abbey in London last Friday.
The newlyweds have postponed their honeymoon. They have kept the destination a secret.
They will begin their first official overseas trip as a married couple by touring Canada from June 30 to July 8 , including visits to Alberta, the Northwest Territories, Prince Edward Island and Quebec.
