Prince Williams wins Christmas football match with pal Becks’ tips

London: Prince Williams successfully implemented the football tips he took from pal David Beckham, which led his team to victory in a Christmas Eve match near Sandringham.

The sporty royal, wearing Three Lions shorts with light blue Aston Villa socks in recognition of his favourite team, got stuck in alongside pals and estate workers at Castle Rising in Norfolk, the Daily Star reported. The Prince, 29, directed his team to a 4-2 victory but failed to score after having a shot saved. “He seemed to be having a great time. He looked pretty fit and was running around for the full 90 minutes,” an onlooker said. “He did not shy away from any tackles and was constantly competing for the ball. You could see that he knew what he was doing,” the onlooker added. ANI
