Los Angeles: Reality TV show `Teen Mom 2` star Jenelle Evans was arrested in Brunswick, North Carolina after officials discovered heroin in her possession.
According to reports, the police were initially called to her home to investigate an alleged domestic dispute between Evans, 21, and her husband Courtland Rogers, 27, reported TMZ Online.
But Evans` latest tussle with the law doesn`t stop there. In court documents obtained by the site, Evans was also found to have several other illegal substances and drug paraphernalia in her possession, including prescription painkiller Percocet, plastic wrapping paper (possibly used to hold the heroin) and a glass smoking pipe.
The troubled reality star has also been charged with multiple counts of assault for reportedly striking Rogers with a piece of furniture during their heated argument, the papers reveal.
The Brunswick County Sheriff`s Office also arrested Evans` husband for "hitting her on the neck and striking her with a closed fist on her head."
He was also found to be in possession of heroin with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute, the site reports.
Evans, who is a mother to 3-year-old son Jace, was also served with a warrant for failure to pay child support. The young mother previously spoke out about her addiction battles and her four-day stint in rehab.
"I simply feel as if I didn`t need to go to treatment if my problem isn`t drugs anymore, and never will be again."
