New York: R&B star Rihanna and soul singer Adele have made it to TIME magazine`s annual 100 most influential people list.
Honouring Rihanna, 24, designer Stella McCartney said, "She`s one of the coolest, hottest, most talented, most liked, most listened to, most followed, most impressive artists at work today."
Adele`s record-breaking album `21` has taken her to international stardom and huge chart success across the globe.
Singer Pink said that the 23-year-old Grammy winner totally deserved the title.
"Turn on any radio station in the world and you will probably hear Adele. Go to Mars right now and I`m pretty sure if there is life on that planet, they`re playing Adele. And for good reason," said Pink.
Oscar-nominated actress Viola Davis, 46, has also made it to the list. "She is a serious and soul-stirring actress, and her rich body of work represents the full range of our humanity," said co-star Cicely Tyson.
Entertainers on the list include actresses Tilda Swinton and Claire Danes, comedians Louis CK and Chelsea Handler, as well as "Saturday Night Live" star Kristen Wiig and "A Separation" director Asghar Farhadi.
Designer Sarah Burton, who designed the famous wedding gown of Kate Middleton, is also a part of the list and has been honoured by Sarah Jessica Parker as "a young woman who shouldered an enormous burden and privilege with dignity, heart and strength."
