Simon Cowell wants to adopt two dogs

London: Music mogul Simon Cowell has decided to adopt two rescue dogs.

The 53-year-old star, who is very fond of animals, has made up his mind to adopt two pooches when he gets back to his home in Los Angeles after the completion of his current work commitments in London, reported Contatcmusic.

"I am going to get two dogs when I get back. Probably cairn terriers. If any rescue shelters have some who need a home let me know," Cowell posted on Twitter.

Cowell, who even created a British TV series `That Dog Can Dance`, expressed his love for animals in 2012 during an episode of `Britain`s Got Talent`.

In the episode Ashleigh Butler and her performing dog Pudsey were crowned the winners of show.

"I love dogs, I love animals and I really like Ashleigh. They deserve it. That dog will become the most famous dog in the world," he had said at the time.
