New York: The 'Woman in Gold's director Simon Curtis has confessed that he was a tea boy to his movie's actress Helen Mirren, when he was 18.

The 55-year-old British film director said that he was working at a theatre in London to gain some experience and was allotted to work as an assistant of the Academy award winning actress, New York Post reported.
