Staying connected on Facebook more vital than flushing loos for Britons

London: Britons find staying connected on Facebook more vital than having a flushing loo.

According to a survey conducted by London’s Science Museum on 3,000 adults, the participants ranked Facebook as the fifth most important thing they can’t live without as compared to flushing loos which was the ninth most important thing, the Daily Mail reported

Sunshine was voted as the clear-cut winner, whereas the Internet came second, clean water third, owning a fridge fourth and the NHS came in sixth.

Having a cooker came in the seventh place, email in the eighth spot and possessing a mobile phone came in tenth, whereas the top 50 was completed by Facebook rival Twitter in the survey was carried out in conjunction with the Science Museum’s new exhibition, “Water Wars: Fight The Food Crisis”.
