After a shocking and a rather unfortunate incident of gunfire in America in a theatre running the new Batman film - ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, Paris has canceled the premiere of the film.

London: After a shocking and a rather unfortunate incident of gunfire in America in a theatre running the new Batman film - ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, Paris has canceled the premiere of the film. According to agencies, workers were pulling down the red carpet display in front of a movie theater on the French capital`s famed Champs-Elysees Avenue on Friday afternoon. Some could be seen carrying away a large mask that had adorned the facade of the theater. The night before in a Denver suburb, a man wearing a gas mask released an unknown gas into a crowded movie theater and opened fire killing 14 people and injuring 50. The shooter, a man in his 20s, has been arrested. The FBI says there is no indication so far of any links to terror groups.
