Time for another Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar spat?

New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan – who is like an “elder brother” to Karan Johar – seems to have taken it a tad too far by forcing Deepika Padukone to cancel her trip with Ranbir Kapoor to promote their upcoming venture ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. With Johar publicly claiming more than a dozen times that he considers Shah Rukh a part of his family, the only sort-of-a rift between the two was created when Johar gave Priyanka Chopra a cold shoulder owing to rumours of her having an affair with the Baadshah of Bollywood doing the rounds. However, with that rift having apparently ended, there seems to be time for a new crack in the close bond between these two thick friends. According to a leading daily, Shah Rukh has refused to give Deepika time off from his film – ‘Chennai Express’ – to promote ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, which is a Dharma Productions` project. If reports are anything to go by, Shah Rukh and Rohit Shetty are in a mad rush to complete the movie so that it hits the theatres by Eid. The reason to worry here is that Karan needed the leggy lass to promote ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ abroad with Ranbir Kapoor, but his plans seem to have been stalled now. With no Deepika by his side, apparently Ranbir isn`t keen to tour either. Well, that leaves us with nothing more to say!
