Tom Cruise’s drunk neighbour tasered for climbing estate fence

Washington: Tom Cruise’s security guard used a stun gun on an intoxicated neighbour, who may have mistakenly entered the actor’s property on Sunday.

Police said 41-year-old Jason Sullivan was shot with a Taser at about 9:30 pm at the home on Calle Vista Drive, Fox News reported.

He was then treated at a hospital and arrested on suspicion of trespassing.

Police said neither Cruise nor his family were at home when the guard spotted a man climbing a fence to get onto the grounds.

“Upon arrival, officers contacted a lone male suspect who was attempting to leave the location,” the Police Department said in a statement.

“The suspect had been previously detained by a security officer, who was on duty at the residence and had observed the suspect climbing a fence to gain access to the property,” the statement read.
