Actor Tom Hardy is blessed to be a father a second time

Los Angeles: Actor Tom Hardy has become a father for the second time.

The 38-year-old, who already has seven-year-old son Louis with former girlfriend Rachael Speed, has welcomed his first child with wife Charlotte Riley, 33, reports dailymail.co.uk.

However, the sex of the child is yet to be disclosed.

Hardy, who got married to the "Edge of Tomorrow" actress in July 2014, announced the couple was having a baby together when Riley flaunted her baby bump as she walked the red carpet with him for the Britain premiere of his new movie in London last month.

“Being a father has given me the kind of purpose that makes you think more carefully about how you live your life," he said at that time. 

"I made a lot of mistakes and I put my mum and dad through a lot because they were so worried about me."
