Tracy Morgan upgraded to fair condition
Los Angeles: `Saturday Night Live` star Tray Morgan`s condition has been upgraded to fair since he was admitted to a hospital following a multi-vehicle collision.
The 45-year-old actor`s condition was stated to be critical when he was admitted to hospital on June 7 with leg-injury, reports suggest.
"Happy to pass along that Tracy has been upgraded to fair condition, which is a great improvement," a representative of the comedian said.
"His personality is certainly starting to come back as well. Also, (Morgan`s assistant) Jeff Millea`s family shared that he has been upgraded to fair condition," he added.
Meanwhile, many celebrities and fans of the actor have been sending their best wishes for him through Twitter.
"Sending thoughts and prayers to Tracy Morgan..." Adam Levine tweeted.
Actress Sherri Shepherd, who played Morgan`s wife on `30 Rock`, sent a message for Morgan, "I am thinking about you every day and wishing you the quickest recovery."
Morgan and his entourage were on their way back from a stop from a comedy tour, when a truck rammed into their limo bus on the New Jersey Turnpike.
Veteran comic and writer James McNair, known as Jimmy Mack, was killed and Morgan, Millea, and comedians Ardie Fuqua and Harris Stanton were injured.
The truck`s driver, Kevin Roper has pleaded not guilty to a count of vehicular homicide and four counts of assault by auto.
