Watch: Mom shutting two warring 'political' brothers live on show

New Delhi: Seldom do we hear brothers fighting it out on public platform. But when it happens, there's none except the doting mother, who can intervene and put a full stop to the argument then and there. Well, in an interesting turn of events this Tuesday, American cable and satellite network C-SPAN had their mom-son moment of the day.

Brad Woodhouse and his brother Dallas are regulars on C-SPAN show where they discuss everything under the sun in US. This time while they were arguing on Obamacare and political divide in the country, they got a call from their own mom on the show to stop their fight then and there.

Well, yes, it' true! The worrying mother called up on the show, as there is a special segment where both Brad and Dallas take calls from random people who have questions for them and then they take the discussion further. But, this time they got their Christmas surprise live.

The mother called in to unite the politically divided brothers on-air. “Oh God, it’s mom,” Dallas Woodhouse said as soon he heard mom Joy speak. She added, ““You’re right, I’m from down south,” she said. “And I’m your mother.”

Joy said that she had called up only to ensure that they get this 'political bickering' out of their systems and hoped for a peaceful Christmas this year, when they visit her this week. The shocked brothers had nothing more to say but 'I love you mom', to which she smartly quipped, 'And I love politics'.

Brad Woodhouse is a Democrat where as Dallas is a Republican.
